August, 2024 Heroes Park Update!
On Thursday, September 22, the design team from Melton Design Group and 19 local skaters met to begin the design process of the future skate park at Heroes Park. Jason Baldessari from Spohn Ranch Skateparks facilitated the meeting to garner input and ideas on what design elements should be included. The meeting was highly interactive, engaging and fun. The next step in the skate park design process is the online survey.
Take the survey.
Once completed, initial concept drawings will be presented for comments and revisions.
The public is invited to another Heroes Park outreach meeting where the revised conceptual drawing will be reviewed. That meeting is scheduled for September 5 at 6 p.m. at the City Hall Training Room (319 N. Douty St.).
